My art practice concerns making and thinking as a means of ongoing self-construction or becoming. I am concerned with my own becoming and also with sharing methods/thinking with others, and their own journeys of becoming. In developing and refining making and thinking, some elements of the artist's studio are necessary. In sharing or fostering this journey with others, some elements of community art are needed. This work does not happen in a vacuum. It happens in systems that have their benefits and their pitfalls, with new technologies that are helpful and also unhelpful. So, I'm looking at writers that can help me to negotiate through these areas.
